Sentry

Crash and error monitoring so we catch issues before your users report them.

Why we need this

Sentry captures crashes, exceptions, and performance regressions from your app in production. We use it to triage bugs quickly, often before users even notice. Like Firebase, Sentry should be owned by your account so the data and history belong to you.

Step-by-step setup

Create the Sentry organization

Sign up at sentry.io and create an organization using your company name. Skip the "create your first project" step — Calda will create the iOS and Android projects with the correct settings.

TODO: confirm the plan tier with your project lead. The Developer plan is fine for early beta; Team or Business unlocks longer event retention.

Share the organization slug

Open Settings → General and confirm the organization slug we'll reference in code, then share it with Calda.

Invite Calda

Go to Settings → Members, click Invite Members, and enter the Calda email we share with you. Assign the Admin role so we can create projects, install integrations, and configure alerts.

Confirm in Slack

We'll accept the invitation and confirm in Slack that we can sign in and see the organization.
