Apple Developer Account
Set up access so we can publish your iOS app to TestFlight and the App Store.
Why we need this
An Apple Developer Program membership is required to sign your iOS app, distribute beta builds through TestFlight, and publish to the App Store. Calda needs a role on your team so we can upload builds, manage certificates, and configure your store listing.
Like all other accounts, this one should be owned by you. Your app's identity, store listing, and publishing history live under this account, so keeping it under your company means that history and ownership belong to you, not us.
Do I need a credit card?
Yes. The Apple Developer Program is a paid yearly membership, and Apple requires a payment method to enroll:
- $99 USD/year for an Individual account
- $299 USD/year for an Organization account
The membership renews annually, so plan to keep it active for as long as your app is published.
Organization accounts take longer
Organization accounts unlock more capabilities but require a free D-U-N-S Number, which can take 1–5 business days for Apple to issue. If you're going the Organization route, start this early so enrollment isn't blocked.
Step-by-step setup
Enroll in the Apple Developer Program
Sign in at developer.apple.com with the Apple ID that will own the account, then click Account → Enroll.
Choose Individual or Organization and follow the prompts. Pay the membership fee ($99 for Individual, $299 for Organization) and wait for Apple's confirmation email.

Confirm the membership type with us before enrolling — Organization accounts require a D-U-N-S Number and extra verification, so it's worth deciding together up front.
Confirm App Store Connect access
Open App Store Connect and verify you can sign in with the same Apple ID.
Invite Calda to your team
In App Store Connect, open Users and Access and click + to invite a new user with the email we share with you.
Assign the Admin role (or App Manager if you prefer to keep admin to yourself) and enable access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles plus any apps we'll be working on.
Confirm in Slack
Don't forget to notify us in Slack so we can accept the invitation and confirm that we can sign in and see the account.
