Why we need this
Bunny.net is where we deploy and serve parts of your app from the edge. Its Magic Containers platform runs your containerized services close to your users across a global network, while its CDN and storage deliver assets and media fast no matter where people are. Calda needs access so we can deploy new versions, configure zones, and keep your delivery running smoothly.
Like all other accounts, this one should be owned by you. Your deployments, storage, and billing are tied to the account, so keeping it under your company means your infrastructure — and everything running on it — belongs to you, not us.
Do I need a credit card?
Yes. Bunny.net is a usage-based service, so a valid payment method is required to unlock deployments and you're billed for the compute, storage, and bandwidth your app actually uses. There's no permanent free tier for hosting like there is with email providers.
Billing stays under your account
Because hosting and delivery are paid, usage-based services, the payment method and all billing live under your Bunny.net account. We'll help you size things so you only pay for what your app actually needs.
Step-by-step setup
Create the Bunny.net account
Sign up at bunny.net using your company email, then add a payment method when prompted so deployments and Magic Containers are unlocked. You'll sign in as the account owner — the one who can invite the rest of the team in the next steps.
Invite Calda
Go to Account → Manage Team, click Add New Team Member, and enter the Calda email we share with you. Bunny.net generates a temporary password for the new member — share it with us through the secure method we provide.
Share the temporary password securely
The temporary password is shown only when you create the member. Send it to us with the secure share method we give you rather than pasting it into a regular chat, and we'll change it on first login.
Grant the right permissions
On the permissions step, enable Manage zones so we can deploy and configure your Magic Containers, CDN pull zones, storage zones, and DNS. That's all we need to set up and run your deployments — billing and other areas can stay under your control.
What we'll do once we're in
After you've invited us, we'll deploy your containers, configure the CDN and storage zones, and wire up delivery — you don't need to configure anything else.
Confirm in Slack
Don't forget to notify us in Slack so we can accept the invitation and confirm that we can sign in.
