Hosting and deployment for your app's frontend — set up the account and invite us so we can deploy and manage it.
Why we need this
Vercel is where your app's frontend lives: it builds and hosts your web app, serves it on a global edge network, and ships a new version every time we push code. Calda needs team access so we can connect the repository, configure the project, manage environment variables, and deploy new releases.
Like all other accounts, this one should be owned by you. Your deployments, domains, and billing are tied to the account, so keeping it under your company means your app — and everything running on it — belongs to you, not us.
Do I need a credit card?
Vercel has a free Hobby tier that's enough to preview early work, but it's limited to personal, non-commercial use and doesn't include team collaboration. Running a production app and adding us as team members requires the paid Pro plan, which needs a valid payment method.
A paid plan will be needed for launch
Inviting team members and serving a production app both require the Pro plan (and a credit card). Plan to upgrade when you set this up so we can be added and deploy on your behalf.
Step-by-step setup
Create the Vercel account
Sign up at vercel.com using your company email. Vercel keeps everything — projects, deployments, domains, and billing — under your account, reachable from the profile menu in the top-right corner.
Create a team
Collaboration on Vercel lives under a team. Create one named after your company so it's easy to recognize, and choose the Pro plan so members and production deployments are available. You can switch between teams anytime from the scope dropdown in the top-left corner.
Invite Calda
Open Settings → Members, click Invite, enter the Calda email we share with you, and assign a role with full project access.
We recommend the Owner role (or a role that can manage projects and environment variables) so we can connect your repository, configure builds, and deploy. You can always adjust this later from the member's … menu.
What we'll do once we're in
After you've added us, we'll connect the repository, configure the project and its environment variables, set up your custom domain, and handle deployments — you don't need to configure anything else.
Confirm in Slack
Don't forget to notify us in Slack so we can accept the invitation and confirm that we can sign in.
